Heute ging es nach Hervey Bay. Auch wenn Fraser Island um die Ecke ist, werden wir die größte Sandinsel der Welt nur von außen sehen. Auf dem Weg haben wir im Noosa National Park Halt gemacht. Nach dem wir endlich einen Parkplatz bekommen haben, konnten wir los laufen.

Wir haben uns für den Coastal Walk entschieden, da dieser “Accessible” ist und daher für uns mit dem Buggy gut zu bewältigen war. Entlang der Küste kann man immer wieder Surfer sehen.

Manche Features wie der “Boiling Pot” funktioniert wohl nur bei den richtigen Bedingungen des Meers.

Danach sind wir noch zu einem Aussichtspunkt hoch gefahren um einen Überblick über die Lagune zu bekommen.

Way to Hervey Bay

Today we drove to Hervey Bay. Even though Fraser Island the biggest Sand Island in the world is right around the corner, we’ll only see it from the main land. On the way we stopped at the Noosq National Park. Once we finally got a parking spot we could start our walk.We decided on the Coastal Walk as it was Accessible and therefore doable with our stroller. Along the coast you can always see a lot of surfers.Some features as the “Boiling Pot” only work on certain surf conditions. Afterwards we headed up a mountain to get a good vantage point over the Lagoon.
