Heute haben wir uns direkt wieder auf den Weg aus Brisbane gemacht. Das Wetter morgens war super und der Parkplatz an unserem Hotel galt bis 12 Uhr, also konnten wir direkt zu Fuß los.

Wir haben einfach schon gegen 8:30 ausgecheckt und alles ins Auto gepackt und sind dann mit dem Buggy los gelaufen. Von unserem Hotel haben wir eine Fußgängerbrücke zum Botanischen Garten genommen. Auf der Hälfte gibt es direkt einmal ein Cafe, das trotz der Uhrzeit an einem Sonntag gut besucht war. Brisbane scheint aktiv zu sein.

Auf der anderen Seite angekommen sind wir etwas durch den botanischen Garten geschlendert.

Nach einem Abstecher in die “Innenstadt” sind wir dann wieder aufs andere Ufer zurück gelaufen.

An einem Spielplatz…

und dem Stadtstrand…

sind wir dann zurück zu unserem Hotel gelaufen. Von dort ging dann die Fahrt zum “Australia Zoo” los. Am Steve Irwin Way angekommen konnte Grace dann Wallabies,

und Koalas streicheln.

Nach der obligatorischen Karussellfahrt ging es dann ins Hotel.

Departure Brisbane

Today we headed directly back out of Brisbane. The weather was very good and the parking spot at our hotel was valid until 12 pm, so we could head out on foot immediately. We simply checked out at 8:30 packed everything into the car and walked out with our stroller. From out hotel we took a pedestrian bridge to the botanic garden. Half way across the bridge a little Cafe is welcoming visitors. Despite the time on a Sunday it was quite full. Brisbane seems to be active.

Once we reached the other side we strolled through the botanic garden.

After a little excursion into downtown Brisbane we crossed the river again.

Passed a playground…

and the city beach…

we headed back to our hotel. From there we headed for the “Australia Zoo”. Once we reached the Steve Irwin Way, Grace got to pet Wallabies

and Koalas.

After the required ride on the carousel we could get to our hotel.
